Customer information Portal of Tatapower.com
The customer information portal for the tatapower.com deals with all the customer related activities. This includes viewing there electricity bills online, viewing the consumption history etc. The overall site is accessed by four types of users.

Super Admin:
The clients required to register with the site and confirm to the organization that yes they want to see there bills online. For this they fill the registration form on the website. This is then validated with the information present in there SAP database. On verification of the information, the users login/password is activated. This information is then physically delivered to the clients registered address through confidential letter. Client is asked to login with the username and password he has received. In the login area he can then view his current bill, previous bills, consumption history. He can log the complaints if any from this place. The next phase of online bill payment is still in the development phase and the feature will be made online once the development is over and the module is approved by the organization.
Second type of authentication which happens on the site is of that of the staff. The staff , depending on his role has access to limited links in the admin. The roles are defined as per the departments. There are 4 departments like administration, accounts and call center. The Administration staff can create the other staff members, define there roles, manage the other static content on the site etc. The Accounts staff is actually responsible for getting the billing information from the sap system. And uploading the same on the website. The call center staff who is responsible for the cross verification of the registration request, and other customer related activities is given very limited access area, which is enough for there role while handling calls.
Third Party Contractors:
These are basically payment gateway providers and use the system to process those clients request who has given the consent to use there card details for the payment of te bills.
Super Admin:
Super admin is the area where the all the details can be accessible in the view format. Where ever is applicable create / edit and delete options are also given.
Apart from this small reports are made available in each login.
